In the private system your chosen doctor will perform your procedure personally and will also look after you if you are admitted as an in-patient. All follow up appointments will be in the private rooms.
Consultation fee: These vary for each doctor - please call the rooms and we will let you know the cost of consultation.

Surgeons Fee:
Fees vary for each procedure and will be discussed at your consultation.
We will make sure you know the cost of any procedure before the operation and give you a written quote.
Medicare Australia will rebate some of the fees for consultations in the rooms.
Your private health insurance and Medicare Australia will help cover the fees for any procedural/surgical or hospital admission.
A fee estimate is always provided at the time of booking your procedure and any out of pocket expenses will be explained.
Anaesthetist:
There may be additional charges from the anaesthetist, the hospital, radiology or pathology. Depending on your level of cover, the health fund may also require you to pay an excess. Our friendly staff will do the utmost to guide you in this difficult area. You can also check with your health fund to see what is covered.

It is possible to choose to have your procedure done at a Private Hospital as an self-funded patient. We can arrange a fee estimate for the consultant's fee. We also email out quotes after a consultation so you can decide what's best for you.
If agreeable, the full amount is payable prior to the procedure date.
You may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for a portion of your consultant's and anaesthetist's fees, which can be claimed following your procedure.
We can also request fee estimates for Hospital and Anaesthetic costs. Payment to these parties would be arranged directly.
